The Copper Country Ski Tigers are holding their annual ski and gear swap Saturday, 
November 10, 2018, at the Houghton High School multi-purpose room. Buy and sell outdoor gear – cross country skis, snow bikes, bikes, camping gear, outdoor clothing, or any other item for the silent sports enthusiast. 

Drop off items to be sold on either Friday (11/9) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. or Saturday (11/09) 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Sale begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and ends at noon. Pick up unsold items and/or checks for sold equipment from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday. There is a 15% commission, with a $75 maximum, charged on all items sold. All proceeds are used to support the successful Copper Country Ski Tigers racing team (State Champions 6-years running). 

This event is also supported by Cross Country Sports and Downwind Sports and both will have gear available for sale.

  • Dec. 5, 2023 - No groomer reports. There is some skiing to be had at Michigan Tech and Swedetown. - very early season and low-snow conditions. About 2.5km was rolled at Tech at week ago. No grooming at Swedetown.
