Health educators, national park rangers and community volunteers are leading a one-mile snowshoe walk at Calumet Lake on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 6-7 p.m. Participants of all ages and skill levels are invited to meet at the Calumet Lake Trailhead in Siskiwit Park near the corner of Pine and Waterworks streets in Calumet. In addition to the showshoe hike, there will be a short ranger presentation and a bonfire! Attendees should dress appropriately for the weather and bring snowshoes if they have them, although snowshoes will be available for use on loan from Cross Country Sports.
