Benefit Run Scheduled to Support Amy Roberts

A 5km run/walk is scheduled for Saturday, December 31, 2011, to support Amy Roberts, a 32-year-old Houghton woman who was hit by a car while running on Sharon Avenue and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Registration opens at 10 a.m. at the Aspirus Keweenaw Fitness Center in Laurium. She is at Marquette General.

$15 entry fee
10-11 a.m. – registration and raffle ticket sales
10-10:45 Preview raffle prizes and auction items
11 am start run/walk
11:15 to noon refreshments, raffle prize preview and silent auction
12 noon begin prize drawing and wrap up silent auction
