Copper Loppet Saturday, February 4, 2012

The Copper Loppet and the new Low Pressure Loppet (a 15 km snow bike race), will take place Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Center in Houghton. Late that afternoon, the Library Restaurant will present the Lucious Loppet, a feast for all racers.

The Copper Loppet includes a 15km and a 30km race that will cover the length and breadth of the Tech trail system.

Once the skiers are finished on Saturday, winter bike enthusiasts have the opportunity to ride the Low Pressure Loppet, using the same 15km course.

The Library Restaurant will provide the Luscious Loppet on Saturday, a sumptuous meal for all Copper Loppet, Low Pressure Loppet, and Junior National qualifier skiers on Saturday.
