The first-ever Michigan Tech Recreation Indoor Triathlon will take place on Wednesday, April 6! Registration opens on Wednesday, March 2 and is FREE, however, you must register to participate. Open to MTU students and SDC members with a valid MTU student ID or SDC membership. Must be 16 years of age or older to participate.
Event Details
Unlike a traditional triathlon, which covers fixed distances of swimming, biking, and running, our indoor triathlon will challenge competitors to race the greatest distance with a fixed time frame. This is an individual event with two divisions, Men's and Women's. The indoor triathlon will consist of swimming, cycling, and running. All participants will be separated into heats of no more than 6 individuals. A new heat will begin every 20 minutes.
