Joe Iverson will give a talk "The Birkebeiners: America and Norway" on Thursday, January 21, at the Michigan Tech Forestry Building, Hesterberg Hall G002. Iverson, the pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chassell, will share his experiences cross country ski racing in the American Birkebeiner in Cable, Wisconsin, and in Lillehammer, Norway. Sponsored by the Sons of Norway and the Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Club, the event opens with a social at 6:30 and the talk at 7:30 pm.
