Yooper Sprint Triathlon June 17
This sprint distance triathlon is staged at the Hancock Recreation Area (Hancock Beach) and is a fundraiser for the Copper Country Ski Tigers. Race as an individual or with friends as a relay team. Looking for Pain? La Fleche du Nord May 5
BikeTheKeweenaw.com, with support from the Red Jacket Cycling Team, presents the second annual La Flèche du Nord, an informal but high-paced training ride in the tradition of the Belgian spring classics on May 5, 2012. Starts in Houghton at 10 am. Finishes on top of Brockway Mountain. No entry fee, no support, no feed, no prizes, no glory. Just old-fashioned pain and suffering. www.bikethekeweenaw.com.

Group Rides, Food, IMBA Dedication Mark Ride the Keweenaw (May 25-27, 2012)
The third annual Ride the Keweenaw will showcase four great trail systems with guided rides throughout the weekend and also will feature the grand opening of the Copper Harbor IMBA Ride Center. Bring your friends, family and riding legs for a fun weekend (May 25-27, 2012) of trails, food, good times, music and pro-riders.
Pro riders Andrew Shandro and Tammy Donahue are scheduled to join us for a jumping clinic at the Michigan Tech Trails on Saturday and will offer an exhibition Sunday on Flying Squirrel Trail in Copper Harbor.
Sunday of Ride the Keweenaw is the Ride Center Party in the Park fundraiser. For $25 you can get some good food, listen to some great music and contribute to the trails. Please help us plan for attendance by registering.
