Swedetown Chalet Open Daily
The Swedetown Chalet lower level is open 7 days a week during daylight hours (currently 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) for access to drinking water, restrooms and changing room. Handout maps are available. There is a small sitting area where you can wait for your running, hiking and riding friends.
Volunteers have drywalled, painted, and worked at getting the lower chalet ready so it can be open in all seasons, not just winter. Calumet Township contributed several needed changes to the Chalet and the Swedetown Trails Club carried out some other steps. This partnership brings wonderful trails and a nice trailhead Chalet so everyone can get out and enjoy!
Please stop in and fill up your water bottle when you are out at Swedetown Trails. The coming and going of legit trail users who appreciate the value of the Chalet and trails to our community can help prevent vandalism.
