Swedetown Trails Spring Prep and Clean-up

Posted on

The Swedetown Trails Club has scheduled a spring prep and clean-up for Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a pot-luck lunch at the chalet. There will be specific tasks to work on in groups.  Bring a friend, a dish to pass, beverage of choice, and tools if you have them. The club will provide the main dish, juice, water, beautiful trails, even more friends, and extra tools.

Swedetown Trailelves are looking for dedicated people or groups to adopt specific trails for the summer. Please consider adopting a trail so we can keep Swedetown Trails in great shape. To adopt contact trailelves@googlegroups.com. Adopting a trail means that you will work to keep that section of trail clipped back and clear for biking and foot sports during the non-snow months. You do not need to be able to run a chainsaw, just use loppers, toss branches off trails and maybe wield a weed wacker.
