Winter Ronde This Saturday, Feb. 9, at Tech Trails

The  Winter Rondevous Snow Bike Race will take place Saturday, February 9, 2013, at the Michigan Tech Nordic ski trails. Race-day registration is available ($35). Once again, snow bikers will have the opportunity to take to the Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Trails. Generally off-limits to snow bikes, this is your one chance to experience all of the ups and downs of the Tech’s lower trail system in all of their lung-burning glory. The 15k course feels like 30k and will mainly feature Tech’s immacuately prepared ski trails. Weather and conditions permitting, sections of singletrack – familiar to racers the MTU MTB Rondevous contested every August – will be included in the event. All proceeds benefit the Michigan Tech Men’s and Women’s Nordic Ski Teams. www.keweenawtrails.com/mturonde/
