The Breakers to Bridge Paddle Festival will take place Saturday, September 9. The signature 10-mile paddle event starts at 10 am at the Stanton township boat launch, just south of the Houghton breakers, with the finish at the East Houghton waterfront park. Shorter guided paddles and kayak demos will be available during the after at the park. The event is sponsored by the Keweenaw Land Trust and the Michigan Tech Outdoor Adventure Program.
