KLT Outing – Beginners Mountain Biking
2:00 Saturday, September 24th at Churning Rapids

The Keweenaw Land Trust is sponsoring a mountain bike outing at Churning Rapids, led by Terry Kinzel and Sue Ellen Kingsley. Meet at 2:00 at the Christiansen Trail Head, along Christiansen Road off M203 in Hancock Township (approximately 7 miles from the US41/M203 intersection in Hancock). Enjoy a gentle-to-moderate mountain bike ride over property protected by a conservation easement.  Afterwards, everyone will meet back at Terry and Sue Ellen’s home for free pasties (meat and veggie) and a beverage, and participate in a short discussion about the Keweenaw Land Trust and conservation easements.

To reserve your free pasty please contact Terry at 482-6827 by 5:00 Friday, September 23 or by email at  tkinzel@pasty.net

You can join in on the bike ride without registering but then we cannot guarantee you a pasty!

KLT Outings are free and open to the public. Donations are requested, and appreciated, to help support the Keweenaw Land Trust.
