Jeffers Half-Marathon, 5K Run/Walk Sept. 15, 2012
The 8th annual Jeffers half-marathon and 5k run/walk is Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012. Registration opens at 7 am, the half-marathon starts at 8 am, and the 5k events are at 9 am. Proceeds benefit Jeffers High School athletics. Details, including a registration form and prices, are available at the Adams Township Schools website.

Copper Harbor Mountain Bike Races Sept. 1-2
The Copper Harbor Trails Festival (formerly known as the Fat Tire) will take place Sunday, September 2, 2012, with 17- and 29-mile mountain bike races on the IMBA Epic Copper Harbor trails. The races have a 2 pm (EDT) mass start. The weekend also includes junior races on Sunday, plus the Enduro race on Saturday, Sept. 1. Michigan Tech Mountain Bike Rondevous August 25
The third annual Michigan Tech MTB Rondevous is now less than a month away – Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at noon. The Rondevous is a one or two lap (your choice) mountain bike race around the Michigan Tech trail system. The Course is challenging but the terrain is safe, entirely on trails (95% singletrack) with hills. One lap is approximately 12 miles. Continue reading →
