Canal Run Slated for July 20
The 38th Annual Canal Run is set for Saturday, July 20. This year, organizers have added half-marathon, in addition to the 10- and 5-mile runs and the 10- and 5-mile walks. Entry fees will increase June 19, so visit the web site today for details and to register. The organizing committee is also looking for more than 100 volunteers, including such duties as traffic controllers, back-up timers, bag attendants, course set-up, clean up crew, de-chipper, dispenser, kids dash assistance, registration, results printer, road crossing patrol, sweeps, and water stop volunteers.
