2015 Muck Run Slated for October 31
The annual Muck Run at the Michigan Tech Trails will take place Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 10 am. The 5K trail race through mud, muck, and mire (maybe even snow) benefits the Michigan Tech men’s and women’s cross country team and Nordic ski team. Pre-registration is available by downloading and mailing the info/registration form (postmarked by October 22) or the morning of the race (for an addiontal $2). Short sleeve race t-shirts are included with registration for the first 60 registrants (size dependent on availability).
Fall Nordic Ski Swap Scheduled October 31
The fall Nordic Ski Swap will take place October 31, 2015, at the Houghton High School Mutipurpose Room. Drop-off for those with equipment or clothing to sell is 8:00-9:45 am; the swap takes place 10:00 a.m. – Noon. No early sales. This sale is limited to Nordic ski equipment and apparel. Ski Tigers will charge a 15% commission on all sales, with those funds supporting the Nordic race team.

Ski Tigers Registration Open for 2015-16 Season
Registration for the Copper Country Ski Tigers youth program (ages 3-12), as well as the development and competition teams (middle and high school) is now open. Ski Tigers Seeks Development Team Coach
The Copper Country Ski Tigers is seeking a Head Coach of its Development Program. This position has a small stipend. Responsibilities include running the devo program from early November through early March with weekly practices on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday and racing on some weekends.
