Jeffers Half Marathon and 5K Saturday, Sep 19
Jeffers High School is hosting their annual athletic fund raiser race this Saturday. Registration at the school begins at 7:00 am. The Half-Marathon starts at 8:00, and the 5K at 9:00. See the details on the school’s website.
Keweenaw Color Run Sept. 20
Join Keweenaw Pride for the 2015 Keweenaw Color Run, a 2.5k or 5k run/walk that includes a T-shirt and more color powder than you can handle. Post-race food and music, too. Details are in the participant guide. Registration Saturday, Sept. 19 in the MUB Circle at Michigan Tech (4-6 pm). Registration also Sunday 8-9:30, with the event starting at 10 am. Proceeds will be donated to the Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter in Houghton.

Keweenaw Cup Cyclocross Oct. 17-18
The Red Jacket Cycling Team is proud to present the seventh annual Keweenaw Cup Cyclocross Race, a two-day cyclocross extravaganza in Copper Harbor. The October 17 and 18, 2015, event includes Saturday’s Downtown Hoedown in “downtown” Copper Harbor, Sunday’s Top of the World Smackdown will be held at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge. Hike for Omega House Sept. 19
Help Omega House celebrate its 10th anniversary by participating in the Hike for the House: a Memorial Walk at Kestner Park and along the Portage Canal in Houghton, Saturday, September 19. Registration begins at 9 am and the Hike begins at 10 am.
