Muck Run Saturday, Oct. 29
What: 5K trail race through mud, muck, and mire. Maybe even snow. See the registration form here.
When: Saturday, October 29, 2011, 10:00am (or soon thereafter)
Where: Michigan Tech Trails (off Sharon Ave, across from Sherman Field in Houghton, on the Michigan Tech campus).
Why: All proceeds benefit the Michigan Tech Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams.
T-shirt: Vintage race t-shirts are included with registration (size dependant on availability)
Course: Challenging trail 5K with rolling hills.
Awards: Top male and female finishers overall and top 3 in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
Also an award for the muddiest runner and top team.
BEST COSTUME AWARD – Muck Run will be held on Halloween Weekend! Bring your Halloween costume,
dress up and run! An award is given for the most impressive outfit!
DOOR PRIZES – The local business community traditionally supports us with many interesting door prizes,
stick around after the race to see what you might win!!!!
Parking: Michigan Tech Trails, Softball Fields, or SDC Lot 24.
Showers: Full shower and restroom facilities available at the SDC.
