KLT Hungarian Falls Snowshoe Hike March 9

Posted on

On Sunday March 9, the Keweenaw Land Trust will host a snowshoe hike at the Hungarian Falls Nature Area and surrounding gorge, starting at 2 pm. Snowshoes are a must, as the snow depth in the woods is four feet or more in some places! Take M-26 to Hubble and turn north on Golf Course Road. Drive to where the plow line ends and hike in from there. The hike will last between 1-2 hours, depending on how many stops we take or if anyone needs rescuing from deep snow.  Dress in layers to ensure you are warm no matter what Mother Nature throws at us. For more information, go to keweenawlandtrust.org.
