Snowshoe Hike Jan. 26 at the Steve Farm Nature Area

Swedetown Winter Trails Day is Sunday, January 12th. Predictions are for a fine winter day, bring your camera! Free skiing and snowshoeing offered all day. Pick up your complimentary day pass at the Chalet any time after 10 a.m. If you have membership at other local trails, this will be a great time to visit Swedetown and try all the great trails. Moonlit Bonfire Ski January 11

bonfireThe Keweenaw Nordic Ski Club hosts is monthly moonlit (we hope) and bonfire ski on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Maasto Hiihto trails in Hancock. Skiers can start at either Maasto Hiito trail head — Tomasi Road or the Chalet at the Hancock fairground — at 6:30 pm . The bonfire is held near the bottom of Sisu Hill on the River Trail in the Swedetown Creek gorge.
